
Curtis Johnson
Curtis Johnson is a retired American sprinter born on December 21, 1979, in Palmetto, Florida. Standing 184 cm and weighing 81 kg, he specialized in the 100 metres and competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Running for the University of Missouri, Johnson won the 4x100 metres relay at the 2002 NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships. He competed in the 100 metres at the 1997 World Junior Championships, 2000 Olympics, and 2001 World Championships without reaching the final. At the 1998 World Junior Championships, he won silver in the 4x100 metres relay.
His personal bests included 6.70 seconds in the 60 metres, 10.03 seconds in the 100 metres achieved at the 2000 Olympic Trials in Sacramento, and 20.77 seconds in the 200 metres. His sub-10.10 time demonstrated his ability to compete at the elite level.
