Brad Walker is an American pole vaulter born on June 21, 1981, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Standing 188 cm and weighing 86 kg, he was the 2007 World Champion and former American record holder in the event.

Walker's victory at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka established him as the world's best pole vaulter that year. His American record demonstrated exceptional technical ability in one of track and field's most demanding events, requiring precise runway speed and flawless execution of the pole plant and swing.

His combination of World Championship gold and national record-holding status places Walker among the greatest American pole vaulters in history. The technical mastery required to reach the top of this demanding event reflects years of dedicated training and athletic development.
