
Phil Riley
Phillip Riley is an American former professional football player and track athlete born on September 24, 1972, in Orlando, Florida. Standing 71 inches and weighing 86 kg, he played college football and ran track for the Florida State Seminoles.
Riley won the 1995 NCAA Indoor Championship in the 55 metre hurdles while competing for the Seminoles track team. His speed and athleticism also translated to the football field, where he played wide receiver. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 1996 NFL Draft.
He played one game as a wide receiver for the New York Jets in 1996. Riley's dual success in track and football demonstrated exceptional athletic versatility, with his NCAA hurdles championship highlighting his elite speed and hurdling ability.
