Cory Leslie

Cory Leslie is an American distance runner born on October 24, 1989, in Sandusky, Ohio. He competes primarily in the 1500 metres and 3000 metre steeplechase, representing the United States at major international competitions. Leslie ran collegiately for the Ohio State Buckeyes before turning professional.

Leslie achieved international recognition by winning the bronze medal in the 3000 metre steeplechase at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Throughout his career, he has been sponsored by Nike and trained with the Furman Elite Track Club, competing at the highest levels of American distance running.

Following his competitive career, Leslie transitioned into coaching. As of 2023, he serves as the head coach of the Under Armour Mission Run Distance men's team based in Baltimore, Maryland, where he guides the next generation of American distance runners using the experience gained from his own successful athletic journey.
