William Chirchir

William Chirchir is a Kenya middle-distance runner, born on February 6, 1979. He competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and Mile.

His personal bests include 1:43.33 in the 800m, 3:29.29 in the 1500m, 3:47.94 in the Mile, 7:58.45 in the 3000m and 3:41.36 in the 1500Metres. He has earned 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
