Viorica Ghican

Viorica Ghican is a Romania middle-distance runner, born on June 9, 1965. She competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and Mile.

Her personal bests include 1:58.96 in the 800m, 4:02.76 in the 1500m, 4:27.10 in the Mile, 8:42.39 in the 3000m and 15:09.90 in the 5000m. She has earned 3 gold and 1 silver medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Romania.
