Rune Bækgaard

Rune Bækgaard is a Denmark long-distance runner, born on August 15, 1988. He competes primarily in the 5000m, 10000m and Semi.

His personal bests include 14:16.67 in the 5000m, 29:48.17 in the 10000m, 1:03:40 in the Semi, 2:13:57 in the Marathon and 14:22 in the 5Kilometre. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Denmark.
