Roman Oravec is a Czechia sprinter, born on April 5, 1978 in Brno, Czech Republic. Standing 1.88 m and weighing 75 kg, He competes primarily in the 200m, 400m and 800m.

His personal bests include 21.95 in the 200m, 47.12 in the 400m, 1:45.06 in the 800m, 3:47.32 in the 1500m and 8:39.24 in the 3000m. He has earned 4 gold and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Czechia.
