Päivi Tikkanen

Päivi Tikkanen is a Finland middle-distance runner, born on January 19, 1960 in Savitaipale, Finland. She competes primarily in the 1500m, 3000m and 5000m.

Her personal bests include 4:08.46 in the 1500m, 8:41.30 in the 3000m, 15:15.76 in the 5000m, 31:45.02 in the 10000m and 1:11:22 in the Semi. She has earned 4 gold medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Finland.
