
Noah Lyles
Noah Lyles, born on July 18, 1997, is an American sprinter who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres, and 200 metres. His personal best of 19.31 seconds in the 200 m stands as the American record and makes him the third fastest man of all time over the distance. He is an Olympic champion and eight-time World champion.
In the 100 m, Lyles won gold at the 2024 Olympic Games and is a three-time world champion, capturing the 4x100 m relay title in 2019 and the individual 100 m and 4x100 m relay titles in 2023. In the 200 m, he is a four-time world champion (2019, 2022, 2023, 2025) and a bronze medalist at both the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. He also won gold at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games and gold at the 2016 World U20 Championships in the 100 m and 4x100 m relay.
Lyles made history at the 2023 World Championships by completing a sprint triple, winning gold medals in the 100 m, 200 m, and 4x100 m relay events.
