Meraf Bahta

Meraf Bahta is a Sweden middle-distance runner, born on June 24, 1989 in Deki Shehaye, Eritrea. She competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and Mile.

Her personal bests include 2:04.41 in the 800m, 4:00.49 in the 1500m, 4:25.26 in the Mile, 8:37.50 in the 3000m and 14:49.95 in the 5000m. She has earned 16 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. She is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Sweden.
