Matti Räsänen

Matti Räsänen is a Finland middle-distance runner, born on February 15, 1983. He competes primarily in the 1500m, Mile and 3000m.

His personal bests include 3:47.64 in the 1500m, 4:07.67 in the Mile, 8:02.18 in the 3000m, 13:42.6h in the 5000m and 28:25.29 in the 10000m. He has earned 5 gold medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Finland.
