Matteo Spanu is a Italy middle-distance runner, born on February 29, 1996. He competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and Mile.

His personal bests include 1:48.55 in the 800m, 3:42.29 in the 1500m, 4:08.46 in the Mile, 8:16.47 in the 3000m and 14:31.04 in the 5000m. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Italy.
