Mathew Kiptanui

Mathew Kiptanui is a Kenya middle-distance runner, born on October 22, 1994. He competes primarily in the 800m, 1500m and 3000m.

His personal bests include 1:47.43 in the 800m, 3:37.91 in the 1500m, 7:44.16 in the 3000m, 13:14.06 in the 5000m and 4:09.46 in the MileRoad. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
