Mārtiņš Alksnis

Mārtiņš Alksnis is a Latvia middle-distance runner, born on September 5, 1975. He competes primarily in the 1500m, Mile and 3000m.

His personal bests include 3:49.06 in the 1500m, 4:20.76 in the Mile, 8:00.88 in the 3000m, 14:15.64 in the 5000m and 30:11.12 in the 10000m. He has earned 7 gold medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Latvia.
