Marita Koch is a Germany sprinter, born on February 18, 1957 in Wismar, Germany. Standing 1.71 m and weighing 62 kg, She competes primarily in the 100m, 200m and 400m.

Her personal bests include 10.83 in the 100m, 21.71= in the 200m, 47.60 in the 400m, 41.53 in the 4x100m and 3:15.92 in the 4x400m.
