Maris Abele

Maris Abele is a Latvia long-distance runner, born on February 11, 1979. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 10000m and Semi.

His personal bests include 8:53.47 in the 3000m, 33:45.71 in the 10000m, 1:11:19 in the Semi, 2:29:39 in the Marathon and 9:40.66 in the 3000mSt. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Latvia.
