José Amado García

José Amado García is a Guatemala long-distance runner, born on September 13, 1977. He competes primarily in the 5000m, 10000m and Semi.

His personal bests include 14:13.19 in the 5000m, 28:50.25 in the 10000m, 1:04:20 in the Semi, 2:13:53 in the Marathon and 30:16 in the 10Kilometr. He has earned 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Guatemala.
