John Doherty

John Doherty is a Ireland long-distance runner, born on July 22, 1961. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 5000m and 10000m.

His personal bests include 7:41.59 in the 3000m, 13:14.17 in the 5000m, 27:49.74 in the 10000m, 2:27:00 in the Marathon and 5:09.53 in the 2000m. He has earned 1 silver medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Ireland.
