John Chavez

John Chavez is a Colombia sprinter, born on May 21, 1979. He competes primarily in the 400m, 800m and 1500m.

His personal bests include 47.95 in the 400m, 1:48.65 in the 800m, 3:45.97 in the 1500m, 3:09.48 in the 4x400m and 51.46 in the 400MetresS. He has earned 4 gold and 3 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Colombia.
