Gideon Gathimba

Gideon Gathimba is a Kenya middle-distance runner, born on March 9, 1980. He competes primarily in the 1500m, Mile and 3000m.

His personal bests include 3:33.53 in the 1500m, 3:50.24 in the Mile, 7:39.70 in the 3000m, 13:39.34 in the 5000m and 3:35.40 in the 1500Metres. He has earned 5 gold and 2 silver medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
