Gennadiy POPOV is a Russia long-distance runner, born on August 4, 1969. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 5000m and Semi.

His personal bests include 8:18.90 in the 3000m, 14:41.3h in the 5000m, 1:03:40 in the Semi, 8:18.90 in the 3000Metres and 47:53 in the 15Kilometr. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Russia.
