His personal bests include 7:41.48 in the 3000m, 13:22.46 in the 5000m, 27:14.44 in the 10000m, 59:52 in the Semi and 2:07:23 in the Marathon. He has earned 1 gold and 1 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Spain.
