Dmitriy Karpov is a Kazakhstan sprinter, born on July 23, 1981 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. Standing 1.98 m and weighing 89 kg, He competes primarily in the 100m, 400m and 1500m.

His personal bests include 10.50 in the 100m, 46.81 in the 400m, 4:32.34 in the 1500m, 13.93 in the 110mH and 2.12 in the HJ. He has earned 10 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kazakhstan.
