Daniel Komen is a Kenya middle-distance runner, born on May 17, 1976 in Kenya, Kenya. Standing 1.70 m and weighing 55 kg, He competes primarily in the 1500m, Mile and 3000m.

His personal bests include 3:29.46 in the 1500m, 3:46.38 in the Mile, 7:20.67 in the 3000m, 12:39.74 in the 5000m and 27:38.32 in the 10000m. He has earned 13 gold and 2 silver medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Kenya.
