Bjarne THYSELL is a Sweden long-distance runner, born on July 14, 1964. He competes primarily in the 3000m, 5000m and 10000m.

His personal bests include 7:57.62 in the 3000m, 13:45.76 in the 5000m, 28:56.68 in the 10000m, 1:04:31 in the Semi and 2:14:42 in the Marathon. He has earned 1 gold medal in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Sweden.
