Asafa Powell

Asafa Powell is a Jamaica sprinter, born on November 23, 1982 in Spanish Town, Jamaica. Standing 1.88 m and weighing 87 kg, He competes primarily in the 100m, 200m and 400m.

His personal bests include 9.72 in the 100m, 19.90 in the 200m, 45.94 in the 400m, 37.27 in the 4x100m and 6.44= in the 60m. He has earned 45 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals in major international competitions. He is currently active on the international athletics circuit, representing Jamaica.
