Kevin Bookout

Kevin Bookout is an American former multi-sport athlete born on March 16, 1983, in Stroud, Oklahoma. He competed in basketball, baseball, shot put, and discus at Stroud High School before attending the University of Oklahoma.

At Oklahoma, Bookout played college basketball while also competing on the track team. With the Sooners basketball team, he scored 1,018 points and grabbed 682 rebounds. He reached the 2007 NCAA finals in shot put, demonstrating his dual-sport abilities. He aspired to compete for the U.S. Olympic shot put team, initially targeting 2008 before delaying to 2012.

After college, Bookout played professional basketball with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in 2007 and later worked out for the NFL's New York Jets in 2012. His versatility across multiple sports showcased his exceptional athletic talent.
