Brandon Couts is an American former sprinter born on February 17, 1979. He specialized in the 400 meters and became the 2002 National Indoor Champion in the event, establishing himself as one of the country's top quarter-milers of his era.

Competing for the Baylor Bears, Couts achieved remarkable success in collegiate relay racing. He won the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 4x400 meter relay in both 2000 and 2001, anchoring both championship-winning teams. These back-to-back titles demonstrated his ability to perform under pressure when his team needed him most.

Following his competitive career, Couts transitioned into coaching. He worked as a sprints and hurdles coach at the University of Colorado, sharing his expertise and experience with the next generation of track and field athletes.
